Official Rules

What Is Mouth Noises?

Mouth Noises is a monthly, skill-based, judge-selected competition. Participants submit short videos of themselves making sounds with their mouth. One winner is selected each month and receives a $1,000 cash prize. This is not a lottery, raffle, or game of chance.

Timeline

Season 2 theme: microwave beeps. Submissions close February 28, 2026. Winner announced March 15, 2026. Season 1 ran Jan 1–31, 2026; winner announced Feb 15, 2026; theme was “Der Der Der Toilet Paper Tube.” Season 3 theme will be announced March 1, 2026.

Entry Fee

The entry fee is $1.99 USD per submission. Each video submission costs $1.99. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Submission Requirements

  • >Submissions must be a YouTube or TikTok link
  • >Video must be a single take, no cuts
  • >Video title must start with: "Mouth Noises [Month] — [Your Name]"
  • >Must be a real human performance
  • >No AI-generated video or audio
  • >No post-production effects, filters, or autotune

Judging

All submissions are evaluated by a panel of judges. Scoring is based on: Commitment / Performance (40%), Originality (25%), Entertainment / Replay Value (25%), and Clarity (10%). Judges' decisions are final.

Disqualification

Submissions that violate any of the above rules will be removed. Disqualified entries are not eligible for a refund. Mouth Noises reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its sole discretion.

Rights & License

You keep full ownership of your video. By submitting, you grant Mouth Noises a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, repost, clip, and promote your submission across any platform, with credit. We will never claim your work as ours.

Privacy

We collect your name, email, and video URL for contest administration. We do not sell your data. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

Legal

Void where prohibited by law. Must be 18 or older to enter. Mouth Noises is not responsible for technical issues, delayed submissions, or internet connectivity problems.

Prize Structure

Each month, one winner is selected by judges based on the published scoring criteria.

The winner receives 50% of the total entry fees collected during the submission period.

The maximum payout for any single month is $1,000.

Prizes are issued within 30 days of winner announcement.

This is a skill-based competition. No element of chance is involved. Void where prohibited by law.
